How to Measure Particle Size of Cosmetics

Cosmetic products, such as eyeshadow, loose powder, foundations, moisturizers, lipsticks, etc., contain particulates or emulsions that affect their appearance, stability, and protection value. Knowing the particle size of these ingredients determines the quality, properties and performance of the final product. In this cosmetics application video, we performed particle size analysis of different cosmetics to illustrate the significance of using the Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer - Bettersizer 2600.
